Services Offered 

Melo-Keys provides: 

• Beginner Piano Lessons (In-Home & Virtual)

• Beginner Vocal Coaching (In-Home & Virtual)

1.Payment 

• In order to ensure a smoother booking experience, all lessons are booked and paid securely through the website.

  Alternative Methods of Payment:

  • Payment is due 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.

  • Payments are acceptable via PayPal, Cash App and Apple Pay.

  • Payment Options:

  • Invoices available upon request.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling 

• You may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours notice.

• Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

• No-shows will be charged 100% of the session rate. 

3. In-Home Lessons 

• In-home lessons are currently offered within 30 miles of zip code 30253 (Henry County and nearby areas). 

• If you are outside of this area, your request may be denied or subject to a travel fee. 

• Please provide a safe, clean, and quiet space for in-home sessions. 

• On the day of your lesson, I will text you with an ETA (estimated time of arrival).  

4. Punctuality 

• Please be on time. Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival. 

• If the instructor is late due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a refund for your full session time or a make-up session. 

5. Virtual Sessions

• Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and your instrument or setup is ready before the session begins. 

• Once your lesson is booked you will receive a zoom link in your email. 

• Please make sure you download Zoom and are ready to join the chat at the start of your lesson.  

6. Student Conduct

• Respectful and focused behavior is expected during all sessions. 

• For students under 18, a parent or guardian must be present at the location. 

7. Recording & Privacy 

• Sessions may not be recorded or shared without mutual consent. 

• Any personal information collected will be used solely for scheduling and communication purposes. 

8. Required Materials 

• Students are responsible for providing their own necessary materials, including but not limited to: 

  • A piano or keyboard for piano lessons (weighted keys preferred for best results)

  • A reliable internet connection and device for virtual sessions. 

  • Any assigned method books or sheet music (specific recommendations will be provided upon enrollment)

  • A notebook or binder for lesson notes and assignments

  • A quiet, distraction-free environment during sessions. 

  • Supplemental resources such as digital handouts, warm-ups, practice guides may be provided by Melo-Keys LLC as part of the service. These materials are for personal use only and may not be shared or reproduced without permission. 

9. Liability 

• Melo-Keys is not liable for any injuries or damages incurred during lessons, whether in-home or virtual. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure a safe environment for learning. 

10. Policy Updates 

• Terms are subject to change. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
